Research Interests

• Research interest of Prof. Dai is focused on exploring the pathophysiology and discovering the potential therapeutic targets of arthritis and allied conditions, mainly rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis.

• Recently, Prof. Dai has studied the pathophysiological roles of IL-18, IL-23, HMGB1 and VGLL3, as well as the therapeutic potential of cannabinoid receptor 2, in cultured synovial fibroblasts, articular chondrocytes, T cells, monocytes/macrophages, osteoclasts and osteoblasts, and animal models.
