Research Interests

• Our research group has long been devoted to the studies on the pathogenesis and intervention of metabolic diseases, such as obesity, diabetes and NAFLD, especially glucose and lipid metabolism regulation in liver and adipose tissue. We’re also engaged in the screening and mechanism research of small-molecule compounds to curb obesity. Previously, by using CMap and Lip-SMap approach, we identified the phytochemical Hyperforin (HPF) as a promising anti-obesity agent and confirmed Dlat as a direct molecular target of HPF. Going forward, we will continue to identify effective anti-obesity lead compounds based on HPF and Dlat.
