Research Interests

• Diabetic peripheral nerve and vascular disease has high incidence, long course, and the early prevention and treatment are difficult. Macrophages (Mφ) play a pivotal role in promoting diabetic peripheral nerve and angiogenesis, however, the underlying mechanism has not been fully elaborated. Our research will explore the influence of nerve guiding factors on Mφ survival, migration, and the differentiation capacity under low oxygen and high sugar microenvironment and explore the possible molecular mechanisms, which will bring new insights and theoretical basis into the prevention and treatment of diabetic peripheral nerve and vascular disease.
