Research Interests

• The molecular biology of ocular malignant tumor. Basic studies on the molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and tumor development, such as activation and inactivation of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, regulation of cell proliferation, cell cycle and cell death, therapeutic targets, metabolic changes, epigenetics of tumor, etc.

• Tumor targeted therapy. Tumor gene therapy using adenovirus as vector. The "recombinant human adenovirus type 5 (H101) injection" was approved by the National Medical Products Administration in 2005. In recent years, efforts have been made to improve the efficacy of antitumor drugs by means of small interfering RNA, radiotherapy, heavy ions, chemotherapy, etc.
