Research Interests

• Dr. Chai majored in craniofacial surgery with more than 20 years of experience, especially in traumatic deformities, congenital syndromes, and digital cosmetic design. So far, he has presided over 9 projects above the municipal level (2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China). His researches were extensively published in science journals, 3 monographs, and 3 patents of the invention with surgery robots, augmented reality surgical navigation systems, 3D bioprinting, and other digital-assisted technologies in craniomaxillofacial surgery. Additionally, he has won the second prize in the Chinese Medical Science and technology awards at all levels of 8 awards.
