Research Interests

• Currently engaged in a number of large applied research projects in the field of psychiatry, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, cross-cultural investigation. Major current projects (SHARP, Shanghai At Risk of Psychosis) involve clinical symptoms, cognition, bio-markers (such as Brain imaging, EEG, eye movement, inflammatory factors, niacin skin reaction, etc), epidemiological studies, early identification of mental disorders such as psychosis, depression, and anxiety disorders, management of behavioral and psychological problems associated with clinical high risk of psychosis, personality disorders and childhood trauma, and family support and stigma attached to schizophrenia. In addition, he is also engaged in the research, development and application of brain stimulation technology for mental illness.
