Research Interests

• Mechanisms of stroke, including symptomatic intracranial atherosclerosis and carotid artery occlusive disease. Also, the posterior circulation territory was of interest to our team because it contained the brainstem, cerebellum and thalamus. We focused on the clinical–anatomical correlations using high-resolution MRI to explore how the brain and symptomatic stenotic artery functioned.
