Research Interests

• He is mainly engaged in the research on the mechanism of regeneration of injured spinal cord and peripheral nerve and the development of medical biomaterials. As the project leader, he has undertaken 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 9 other projects. More than 80 papers were published as the first or corresponding author. He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and has been successively awarded as Shanghai Academic Research Leader.
