Research Interests

• He is a member of the skull base surgery group of WFNS neurosurgery, a member of the Neuroendoscopy Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, engaged in neurosurgery for 27 years. Speciality: endoscopy, microscopic minimally invasive technology treatment of pituitary tumors, acoustic neuromas, brainstem and other complex skull base diseases.

• Research field: mainly for the clinical and basic research of aggressive pituitary tumors, our research group found that macrophages and pituitary tumor cells in the microenvironment of invasive pituitary tumors interact to promote tumor growth; Through single-cell sequencing, it was found that invasive pituitary tumors had obvious changes of TLE4 genes than non-invasive pituitary tumor, and TLE4 gene promoted the transformation of pituitary tumor cells to aggressiveness, and its mechanism needed further research.
