Research Interests

• Dr. Bei is a practicing neonatologist at Shanghai Children's Medical Center and serves as the Director of the Neonatology Department. She utilizes a preterm cohort to elucidate the impact of perinatal events on the short- and long-term health of preterm infants, including neurodevelopment and nutrition status. She is also working to identify the phenotypic and mechanism of the influence of early life nutritional status on metabolic diseases, such as insulin resistance and obesity.
