Research Interests

  • Failure of chemotherapy or immunotherapy to effectively remove leukemia stem cells (LSCs) is the underlying mechanism of leukemia relapse. Recent studies have revealed that bone marrow (BM) niche provides a refuge for LSC to escape treatment. However, the role of different cellular components of the BM niche in the therapeutic resistance of leukemia is largely unclear.
