Research Interests

• Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common childhood tumor, and relapse is the leading cause of mortality. Identification of the biological basis of treatment failure is crucial to predicting relapse risk and to aiding in the development of new therapeutic strategies that avoid or treat relapse. Our group focus on identifies new genetic variants especially metabolic enzymes in ALL relapse and the drug resistance mechanism of chemotherapy. We mainly use molecular biology and metabolomics techniques to reveal the roles and mechanisms of these genetic variants during ALL progression. Our study will provide potential molecular diagnostic makers and therapeutic strategies against ALL relapse.
