Research Interests
We are devoted to revealing the relationship between genomic variants and human diseases. Currently, I mainly focus on investigating the roles of noncoding sequencing in the etiology of congenital anomaly associated Copy Number Variations (CNVs). Such knowledge can empower understanding the genetic contributions of CNVs to human disease and traits. To achieve such goal, our work involves regular clinical genetic tests, cell-based experimental validations and animal modeling, as well as high throughput genetic screening and computational investigations.
