Research Interests

• Specialized in acute kidney injury/chronic kidney disease, hypertension, thrombotic microangiopathy and thrombo-embolic nephropathy, etc. The main research fields include

• A. New biological markers, especially microRNAs, and their mechanism in the pathogenesis of acute kidney injury,

• B. The protective effects of hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α) on tubular repair after acute kidney injury

• C. the mechanism of innate immune system in the pathogenesis of hypertensive nephropathy

• D. The clinical features and new assessment way of patients with renal artery anomaly. Our research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program: 8227030132, 8167030164, 81470967, 81070586) and the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee (General Program: 21ZR1440300,11JC1407900, 12DJ1400303, 10411965900). Our teams have published more than 40 articles and reviews on Redox Biology, American Journal of Translational Medicine and Journal of clinical hypertension, etc.
