Research Interests

• As a skilled surgeon, Dr. Yan is expert at the surgical treatment for thyroid diseases, especially robotic surgery. He has conducted over 1000 robotic surgeries of thyroid over the past years. The main research interests of Dr. Yan include clinical and pathological features of highly invasive thyroid cancer, combined treatment for locally advanced or metastatic thyroid cancer, as well as the molecular mechanism related to highly invasive thyroid cancer. The related works have been published on journals such as Scientific Reports, Asian Journal of surgery, and so on.
