Research Interests

• Our group studies the relationship between the changes mitochondrial and metabolic diseases, which include:

• 1. Focusing on the regulating mechanism of WBSCR16 in mitochondrial and its physiological functions;

• 2. Drawing the mitochondrial characteristics of a variety of major human metabolic diseases such as tumors and diabetes, and screen targeted chemical molecules for related metabolic diseases;

• 3. Exploring and constructing mtDNA Gene editing mouse model, which is a major challenge in the field of mitochondria and gene editing.

• In addition, we also responsible for the mitochondria-related research platforms for the Institute of Endocrinology.
