1. To study the pathological mechanisms of atherosclerosis, cardiomyopathy and heart failure by using tools ranging from molecular biology approaches to small and large animal models.

2. To cover a range of activities from the mechanisms of regeneration at the molecular levels to the development of therapeutic strategies.

3. To conduct small molecule drug screening via zebrafish models

4. To carry out clinical studies on lipids and atherosclerosis
