Research Interests

• Dr.Cao specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions-particularly lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, Behcet's disease, dermatomyositis, Sjogren's syndrome, vasculitis and immune-targeting drug related adverse events. Her research group is focused on understanding the mechanism of dermatomyositis and is also interested in the development of early diagnostic method for dermatomyositis with malignant tumors or severe nterstitial lung disease. She firstly proposed dermatomyositis-like skin disease it was quoted in textbooks.
