Research Interests

The main research interests include tissue engineering techniques, stem cells and extracellular vesicles in Urology and Andrology, Erectile dysfunction, Infertility.

1. Tissue engineering techniques in reconstruction of large bladder defects: using of novel biomaterials scaffolds seeded with stem cells or extracellular vesicles for bladder reconstruction, and exploring its underling mechanism in repair.

2. Erectile dysfunction (ED): exploring the efficiency and mechanism of stem cells and extracellular vesicles treatment for diabetic ED and cavernous nerve injury-induced ED. Clinical trials of mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of ED.

3. Infertility: Identifying mutations in patient with sporadic NOA using whole-exome sequencing techniques.
