Research Interests

• Dr. Feng Xue is a transplant physician and the Pediatric Director of Liver Transplantation at Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, with a primary focus in management of adult and pediatric liver transplantation and transplant immunity. Areas of clinical expertise include: Improving long-term outcomes for liver transplant recipients by immune monitoring and personalized immunosuppression. Management of post-LT complications, especially in pediatric liver transplant recipients.

• In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Xue is active in researches including molecular mechanisms of drug-induced liver injury (DILI), EBV associated PTLD, improving vaccine outcomes for post-LT recipients under immunosuppression. She has also been active in education, having been served as the surgery teaching director for the department. In addition to her work with medical students, Dr. Xue has mentored many transplant surgery fellows, both domestic and overseas, and she has been active in international collaboration.
