Research Interests

• Pathogenesis and intervention of refractory kidney disease and acute kidney injury （AKI）, including clinical and basic research as well. Use to focus on biomarkers of AKI and its mechanism，such as the protective role of some peptide. Use to found that renalase peptide can protect renal injury and its role in apoptosis.  And also found that NGAL and IL-18 may be biomarkers for acute kidney injury during contrast induced nephropathy.

• Recently tend to do researches of the clinical outcome of Chronic kidney disease with nephrotic syndrome such as IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, lupus nephropathy and so on. The effects of treatment by biological agents and the mechanism of podocyte diseases.
