Research Interests

• Dr Li’s current research interests are molecular mechanisms of hypoxia driven cancer progression and finding new uses in cancer for existing drugs. Dr Li’s group focuses on hypoxia microenvironment and has revealed the function and mechanism of several hypoxia inducible genes, such as ANGPTL4, RIT1 and SPAG4, in HCC progression, which provide novel insight into mechanisms of cancer progression and new promising therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.
