• Mechanisms of General Anesthesia

• General anesthetics are daily used in clinic, while its mechanism remains unclear. Revealing mechanisms of general anesthesia is considered a core problem in the field of anesthesia. It would not only benefit clinical anesthesia work, but also provide ideas for another important issue of human life, the neural basis of consciousness. We screened several brand new molecular targets involved in general anesthesia using a high- throughput forward gene screening system and try to explore their specific signaling pathways. This would be of great significance for the all-round exploration of general anesthesia and also the unknown mechanisms of consciousness.
