Research Interests

• My research group focuses on mechanisms of immunosuppression and immune tolerance, especially in tumor diseases. Currently, we investigate the association of immunity with cellular metabolism or microbiota. Besides tumor models, we also study autoimmune systems (SLE, ANCA-associated vasculitis, EAE), wound healing, and inflammatory gut diseases. Our research has mainly basic character, though we always try to confirm our findings from animals in clinical material. We use both classical methods (flow cytometry, immunoblotting, ELISA, qPCR, cell culture, etc.), and new approaches (bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing, 16S rDNA sequencing, bioinformatic analysis).
