Research Interests
We focus on understanding the function and regulation of post-translational modifications (PTM) enzymes and use the understanding to screen gut microbe products and molecule inhibitors for these enzymes as potential therapeutics for treating human diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and gastrointestinal cancer.
