Research Interests

• In addition to carrying DNA coding information, sperm also has unique epigenome (such as DNA methylation, histone modification, non-coding RNA, etc.). Sperm transmit these marks to the egg together with the whole genome of DNA. Any environmental factors that cause changes in genetic or epigenetic information of sperm may affect fertility and even the health of offspring. My research interests mainly focus onthe genetic and epigenetic regulation of spermatogenesis and sperm maturation and the evaluation of sperm safety in assisted reproduction to answer or solve the scientific question of "sperm original reproductive defects and health problems of offspring".
