Research Interests

• Our research focus is on the mechanism of alterations in bile acid, lipid and glucose homeostasis and placental injury during pathological gestation. We also study the maternal and fetal etiology and outcomes of pregnancy-specific disorders, including intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), and preeclampsia (PE). Furthermore, we evaluate the effectiveness of early diagnosis model and new treatments for maternal metabolic diseases with the aim of improving long-term outcomes in pregnancies complicated by ICP, etc.
