Biography

  • Professor Liu Peifeng serves at the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes, Renji Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiaotong University. At the same time, he is also director of the scientific research public service platform, the executive deputy director of the central laboratory of Renji Hospital, deputy director and deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of Shanghai Cancer Institute, the PI of the micro-nano technology and biomedical research group, and the doctoral supervisor. Professor Liu is mainly engaged in the construction of nano-drug carriers and the development and research of new anti-tumor drugs. His research work is closely combined with the actual needs of clinical treatment and his research results have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Advanced Materials, Accounts of Chemical Research, Advanced Science, Biomaterials, and Chemistry of Materials. In addition, he was granted 5 Chinese invention patents. In recent years, Professor Liu has received continuous support from 8 foundations (including 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 Shanghai Municipal Foundation, etc.). Professor Liu has won the the National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" Youth Talents, Shanghai Young Top Talents, Shanghai Talent Development Foundation, the Double Hundred Talents Program of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and the "Tofflon" Young Scientist Award from the Shanghai Society of Bioengineering and Shanghai Jiaotong University “Shangyao Xinglin Yucai Award” and other honors. He was successively elected as the "Executive Director" of the Youth Council of the China Anti-Cancer Association, the "Director" of the Shanghai Society of Bioengineering, and the "Member" of the Shanghai Medical and Health Youth Federation.
