Biography

  • Duan Yourong received her doctor's degree in June 2002 at the National Biomaterial Engineering Research Center of Sichuan University. From June 2002 to May 2004, She worked in the post doctoral mobile station of the School of Pharmacy of West China Medical University. In May 2004, She joined the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials, School of Materials, Donghua University; In 2005, She was transferred to the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes of Shanghai Cancer Research Institute. Duan Yourong has a multidisciplinary research background and is engaged in the research of drug carriers. She is committed to technological development in the field of biomaterials and translational medicine. Focusing on the key scientific issues of tumor drug resistance, she has explored and developed a variety of new strategies to overcome tumor drug resistance based on nanotechnology and biomaterials. In recent years, She has published more than 100 papers. 20 Chinese invention patents were authorized, 4 of which were successfully transferred to the company.
