Biography

Distinguished professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Be awarded national master teacher, national advanced worker in education and scientific research, and the nationwide prominent teacher. 

Served as the deputy director of the National Tropical Diseases Research Center; Executive deputy director of One Health Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University-The University of Edinburgh; Executive dean of School of Global Health, Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; Vice dean of Shanghai Ottawa United Medical College; Director of biomedical science management committee; and director of Program for Biomedical Science of Zhiyuan College. Concurrently served as chairman of the Medical Microbiology Immunology Committee of the Chinese society of Microbiology, vice chairman of Microecology branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, vice chairman of microecology and health branch of China Medical Education Association, vice president and secretary general of Shanghai Society of Microbiology, director of Medical Science Committee of national virtual simulation experiment teaching innovation alliance, leader of working group for standardization construction and management of basic medical experimental teaching center of national colleges and Universities, distinguished expert of the professional construction working group & top talent training and practical teaching working group of the basic medical education steering committee of the Ministry of Education,   Be as editor in chief of medical microbiology, a national graduate planning textbook, Chinese and bilingual version of the National Undergraduate planning textbook Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, and Medical Microbiology English edition of National Undergraduate planning textbook. Be also as head of medical microbiology of state Excellent Course, state Excellent Shared Course, national first-class courses and Shanghai mixed courses. Has won more than 20 scientific research and education awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, such as the national grand prize for educational and scientific research achievements, the first prize for national teaching achievements.
