Biography

• Zisheng Tang, D.D.S., Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Advisor at the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the Director of the Dental Training Center and Deputy Director of the Department of Endodontics. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Prevention and Rehabilitation of Oral Diseases of the Chinese Society of Rehabilitation Medicine, a member of the Endodontology Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Endodontology Committee of the Shanghai Stomatology Association, and a member of the Medical Simulation Committee of the Chinese Simulation Society. His research focuses on the development and application of oral nano-antibacterial materials as well as digital oral diagnosis and treatment technology.

• He has presided over 15 national and municipal level research projects. He has published over 50 papers as either the corresponding author or first author, with a combined impact factor of 80, and 8 papers with an impact factor of 5 or more. He has been granted 3 patents. He was awarded the Second Place Prize (Natural Science) for the Ministry of Education's Scientific Research Excellence Award (Science and Technology) (Ranked Second), the Third Place Prize for the Shanghai Baiyulan Dental Science and Technology Award (Ranked First), and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Teaching Achievement Outstanding Award (Ranked Second). He is a member of the national level "Endodontics" textbook editorial board under the 12th Five-Year Plan. He is an Outstanding Teacher for the Shanghai standardized training for resident physicians. He has led 4 teaching projects, including the Key Teaching and Reform Projects of Shanghai universities.
