Dr. Ming Cai, Associate Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong university school of medicine. He is chief physician of Department of Oral & Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University College of Stomatology and got the medical doctor degree in 2010. He is a senior specialist on surgical treatment of cleft lip and palate and dental-facial deformities. He spent 6 months in Germany for residency training in 2008. He finished visiting scholarship in the year 2012 to 2013 in South Korea, Australia, and the USA. He also attended the medical pairing assistance in Yunnan province in 2015. His research work focuses on mechanism of distraction osteogenesis and computerized surgical technologies. He is the committee member of society of cleft lip and palate, and Society of Stomatological Digital Medicine, Chinese Stomatological Association. His work on 3D printing customized distraction device has obtained Chinese patent authorization. He won the first prize on case competition for Chinese young OMFs Surgeons in 2018. Also, he won the first prize on science and technology innovation competition of Shanghai medical staff in 2020. He published 41 articles and directed more than 10 research projects both on scientific research and teaching reform.
