Bio

  • Dr. Li graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 2018 and continued her postdoctoral research at the University of Hong Kong before joining the School of Public Health of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in January 2021. Her main research interests are exploring the intervention effects and mechanisms of medicinal and food plants on alcoholic liver disease and metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases, especially focusing on the regulation of immunity and intestinal flora in metabolic diseases. She has published papers on international peer-review  journals such as Clinical and Translational Medicine, Comprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Frontiers in Immunology, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, and Food & Function, of which 2 were selected as the top 1% highly cited papers in ESI. The total number of citations of the paper exceeds 6000, and the individual H-index is 40. She was awarded as Highly   Cited Researcher 2021 by Clarivate.
