Biography

Yongxia Qiao, chief teacher of Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She has been associate prorfessor of Shanghai jiaotong university school of medicine school of public health since 2012. Her research focuses on the epidemiologiy of tumor, epidemiologiy of cardiovascular disease, epidemiologiy of metabolic disease, epidemiologiy of nutrition and exercise intervention, epidemiology of obstetrics and gynecology disease, and molecular epidemiological studies. She has been PI for 2 national Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects. Important contributions from the her laboratory have included molecular and epidemiology mechanism of AGE/AGER signal pathway in controlling YAP and liver cancer tumorigensis in diabetes. In past research, She has published her research in many prestigious journals including Nature Communcations, Cell Reports, Diabetes and so on.
