The program falls within the list of national-level first-class undergraduate program. In the Ranking among Colleges and Universities in terms of Degree and Discipline Evaluation promulgated by education department in 2017, the program ranks B+. The program offers a dual-degree project of “Nursing-Administrative Management”.

The program aims to cultivate professional talents who both comply with the needs of “healthy China strategy” and own international adaptability. Relying on first-class education resource of SJTUSM and abundant medical education resources of the 12 affiliated hospitals, the advantageous education achievements such as national-level online excellent courses and hybrid teaching mode were obtained and the complete cultivation system of bachelor, master and doctor is equipped.
