环境健康与生态安全系

响应国家加强生物安全建设的号召,环境健康与生态安全系成立于2021年,主要在人类与环境界面上进行生物安全风险防控与治理体系建设,提高国家生物安全治理能力,切实保护国民生命健康安全。主要的研究方向为病原微生物检测、抗生素耐药防控等。环境健康与生态安全系现主任为殷堃研究员。现有全职教职员工3人,其中正高1名,中级职称2名,平均年龄30岁。本系近两年从宾夕法尼亚大学、杜克大学、复旦等国内外知名高校引进多位青年人才,组成了一支年轻、有活力、具有国际视野的研究团队。目前,环境健康与生态安全系承担国家级、部委级、校级等多项研究项目,在研经费近300万。

本系承担《全球健康与全健康导论》课程主讲以及学院多门课程建设任务,如《Environment, climate change and biodiversity conservation》、《Ecosystem Health, Food Systems and Sustainability》等。

The Department of Environmental Health and Ecological Security was established in 2021, and the chair is Professor Kun Yin. There are 3 full-time staffs, including 1 Professor and 2 Assistant Professors, with an average age of 30. In the past one year, the department has introduced many young talents from well-known universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, Fudan University, forming a young and internationally oriented research team. In response to the national call to strengthen biosafety construction, the Department of Environmental Health and Ecological Security mainly carries out biosafety risk prevention, control and management system construction at the human-environment interface, improves national biosafety management capacity, and effectively protects health safety of citizens. The research mainly focus on pathogen detection, antibiotic resistance prevention and control, etc. At present, the Department of Environmental Health and Ecological Security is in charge of a number of national, ministerial, university-level research projects, with nearly 3 million research funds.

The department is responsible for the lesson of Introduction to Global Health and Total Health and the construction of several courses of the school, such as Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation, Ecosystem Health, Food Systems and Sustainability, etc.
