上海交通大学医学院-国家热带病研究中心全球健康学院（以下简称“SGH”）于2019年6月16日在上海成立。SGH是上海交通大学医学院下属二级学院，由上海交大医学院和国家热带病研究中心共同承建。

中科院院士陈竺兼任SGH学术委员会主任；中科院院士高福兼任SGH院长；王兆军教授任SGH副院长；周晓农研究员兼任SGH副院长。

SGH致力于建设世界一流的全球健康教育机构和亚太地区领先的全球健康研究平台。

SGH的使命是促进具有全球视野的医学人才的发展，培养未来全球健康治理的领军人才。通过推动全球健康学科的发展，SGH致力于在构建人类健康的共同未来社会中贡献“中国智慧”。SGH的研究聚焦于热带病和传染病、全球卫生政策和标准、妇幼保健、营养和食品安全以及心理健康。

因此，通过建设跨区域的全球健康教育机构和跨学科、跨部门学者的国际学术中心，SGH将成为国内外一流专家的聚集地和国际学者的人才高地。依托共建单位（国家热带病研究中心），SGH与30多个国家70多家学术机构建立了学术交流关系。

School of Global Health, Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as "SGH") was established in Shanghai on June 16, 2019. The SGH is a sub-school under the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, which is co-sponsored by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research.

CHEN Zhu, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the director of the academic committee of SGH. GAO Fu, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, is dean of SGH. Wang Zhaojun and Zhou Xiaonong are vice dean of SGH.

The SGH strives to build a world-class global health educational institution and a leading research platform on global health in Asia Pacific region.

The mission of SGH is to promote the development of medical talents with global vision and to bring-up future leaders on global health governance. By advancing global health discipline, SGH contributes Chinese wisdom in the building of the community with a shared future of human health. SGH focuses its research on tropical diseases and infectious diseases, global health policies and standards, maternal and child health, nutrition and food safety, and mental health.

Therefore, by building a cross-regional education institution on global health and an international exchange center facilitated by trans-disciplines and cross-sectors scholars, the SGH is to be a gathering venue with the first-class specialists at home and abroad, and a talent highland of international scholars. Relying on the co construction units, it has established academic exchange relations with more than 70 academic institutions in more than 30 countries.

全球健康学院将依托上海交通大学医学院医学科学领域的雄厚实力和上海交通大学多学科的综合优势，整合国家热带病中心在热带病防控领域的优势力量和全球分布的国际合作网络，放眼全球，建设一个国际一流的全球健康教育与研究机构。

以国际一流全球健康学科为发展目标，培养具备扎实学科基础，创新思维、国际视野的全球健康治理的领军人才；共同在全球热带病防控、生命全周期健康、全球卫生政策与治理等方面，推动全球健康学科的发展，促进中国方案、中国产品更好地为全球人类健康服务，为人类健康命运共同体贡献中国智慧。

学院目标

学院职责是开展全球健康学历教育、学位教育和课程教学；聚焦热带病与突发传染病、全球卫生政策与标准、全球妇幼卫生、全球营养与食品安全、全球精神卫生等领域开展科学研究；围绕全球健康领域开展国际合作和国际交流。
