Gu Jieyan pointed out that 12 PI members of the brain science research team of the School of Basic Medicine of Jiaotong University joined Songjiang Research Institute, which is an important measure to promote the integrated high-quality development of Songjiang Research Institute and Songjiang Hospital, and to serve the national strategy of the G60 science and Innovation corridor of the Yangtze River Delta and the needs of the construction of Songjiang New City. And put forward three ideas: First, the development goal of the institute should be closely combined with the development orientation of affiliated Songjiang Hospital. Songjiang Research Institute is an important carrying area for the China Brain Project and the brain science research of the School of Medicine of Jiaotong University. The final development results should serve clinical medical treatment, improve the service level of hospitals, and enable people to enjoy high-quality medical services. It is hoped that the Medical School of Jiaotong University and the health authorities can provide guidance for the top-level planning of Songjiang Hospital. Second, the platform construction of the research institute should be closely combined with the construction of first-class disciplines. With the help of the platform of the School of Medicine of Jiaotong University and the Songjiang Research Institute, the evaluation criteria of the top three hospitals should be compared with the "double first-class" construction of the School of Medicine of Jiaotong University and the "big health" strategy of the main department of Jiaotong University, supporting large-scale medical equipment and necessary high-end scientific research equipment and facilities, accelerating the construction of disciplines and talents, and constantly improving the interdisciplinary, cross-department and cross-industry interdisciplinary interdisciplinary system and mechanism. Through the form of project cooperation, talents training and discipline development are promoted, clinical research directions are refined, clinical problems are effectively solved and high-level scientific research results are produced, the core competitiveness and comprehensive strength of the hospital are comprehensively enhanced, and high-quality integration construction between the hospital and Songjiang Research Institute is further promoted. Duan Shumin delivered a speech, reviewing the integration construction process of Songjiang Research Institute and Songjiang Hospital for more than a year, a total of 10 PI has been introduced, and there are 5 PI in the process of entry, including 1 young top talent, 4 Shanghai Young leading talent (overseas), and 1 Oriental outstanding talent. This double employment of 12 basic medical school PI, including 2 young people, excellent youth project 1. It is hoped that the double PI can actively play the role of "mentoring" in the future, help the new PI of the Research Institute to precipitate savings, accumulate, and support and promote the output of scientific research results. The PI and double PI of the research Institute should increase the docking, exchange and integration with clinical disciplines, assist relevant disciplines to do a good job in the training of scientific research backbone and talent echelon, and promote the construction of scientific research culture of the discipline. By organizing academic activities on a regular basis to guide discipline members to organize scientific research ideas, solve experimental problems, apply for project approval and publish SCI papers, etc., cultivate clinical discipline members to strive for hospital-level three outstanding talents, districtlevel and municipal talents, etc., and make greater contributions to the integrated construction and development of Songjiang Hospital and Songjiang Research Institute.
