Academician Duan Shumin delivered a speech, he introduced the establishment of the Songjiang Research Institute and the current talent and platform construction, the research institute in just six months has gathered a number of outstanding talents represented by Qiu Zilong, can not be separated from the Songjiang district government and the leadership of the School of Medicine of Jiaotong University, the commission bureau and the support of various departments. In the future, we are confident that the Institute will become a talent highland and produce high-quality scientific research results.

Professor Xu Tianle made a report entitled "Progress of Team Building and Introduction of Songjiang Research Institute", sharing his thoughts and prospects in the aspects of talent training, discipline construction and team construction with his personal experience. The leaders of the five brain science innovation teams, Prof. Guan Yangtai, Prof. Liu Jun, Prof. Li Fei, Prof. Gao Xiaoling and Prof. Li Gan, introduced the composition, cross-integration and progress and achievements of their respective teams in five research directions, including neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, social disorder, neuropharmacology and sensory and perceptual principles, respectively. The future fields to be developed are discussed in depth.
