研究兴趣:

李亚东博士主要研究方向为睡眠觉醒发生机制及对学习记忆和情感的调控作用,重点关注:1)睡眠觉醒调控记忆和情感的神经环路和分子机制;2)阿尔兹海默病中认知和情感损害的环路和分子机制,开创性的提出通过干预觉醒水平改善认知和情感功能的新策略;3)慢性痛和麻醉相关睡眠障碍和认知损害的病理机制及干预策略。

学术成绩:

1)在生理性睡眠觉醒发生机制方面,发现了腹侧基底神经节中伏隔核和腹侧苍白球调控动机相关觉醒的关键作用;2)在睡眠障碍发生机制方面,揭示了前扣带回皮层-纹状体环路调控慢性痛失眠的关键机制,为睡眠障碍的干预提供了新靶点;3)在睡眠觉醒调控学习记忆机制方面,阐明了觉醒核团调控成体海马神经发生进而改善记忆的新机制,为改善阿尔兹海默病记忆障碍提供了新策略。以上研究成果为解析睡眠觉醒发生机制及对记忆调控作用提供了关键的理论基础。李亚东以第一或通讯作者身份在Nat Neurosci、Cell Stem Cell和Neuron等期刊发表论文11篇,获国自然海外优青项目(国家级)和上海市青年领军人才(省部级)项目的资助。主持国自然面上项目等各类项目5项。
