Imaging Laboratory

Imaging Laboratory has six large optical microscopes, including super-resolution microscope, confocal laser scanning microscope and two-photon microscope, which are open to medical schools, hospitals and society, mainly carrying out imaging-related technical services and training.

The lab mainly includes Leica STED super-resolution microscope, Leica Sp8, ZEISS 710 confocal microscope, Nikon live-cell workstation and other large-scale instruments and equipment, and provides services to various departments and affiliated hospitals of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. At present, our lab invites application experts in the schools and related instrument companies to provide technical guidance, mainly for the following services:

•Instrument services: including super-resolution microscopes, laser confocal scanning microscopes, two-photon, live-cell workstations and other large-scale instruments management and services.

•Training services: According to the existing equipment and technology of the platform, training courses indifferentlevelsare held from time to time, and relevant instruments and sample preparation methods arealsoprovided.

•New technology development: provide display, trial and feedback for advanced instruments in related fields, regularly hold relevant technical lectures, learn and promote new technologies and methods.
