On March 1, 2024, Chris Hammond, Publishing Director of Elsevier, Wenyi Zhou, Director of Journal Strategic Partnerships of Elsevier, and Lizzie Wang, Publisher of Science in One Health, visited the School of Global Health to have an in-depth exchange on the cooperation and development of Science in One Health.
Xiao-Nong Zhou, Vice Dean of SGH and EiC of Science in One Health, gave a detailed introduction to the participants about the development of the SGH as well as the founding background, current status, and goal planning of Science in One Health. With the strong support of Elsevier and the joint efforts of the editorial team, the journal has achieved good results and developed steadily since its inception more than a year ago, laying a good foundation for future high-quality development and increased international influence.
Chris Hammond was delighted with what Science in One Health has achieved in a short period of time. He said that as a strategic partner of this journal, Elsevier would give full play to its advantages to maximize the development of this journal and enhance its international influence.
The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on planning special issues, manuscript reviewprocedure and editing standards, organizing international conferences, and enhancing the international influence of the journal through multiple channels.
This visit not only achieved the purpose of enhancing trust and cooperation between the two parties, but also enhanced the confidence of both parties in cooperating to develop Science in One Health with high quality.
