At present, the construction of China's global health and total health education system is still in its infancy, and a systematic discipline system, mature talent training model and corresponding courses have not yet been established. Due to the lack of integrity in the deployment of global health and one health research in China, the construction of global health and one health discipline system is "almost blank", resulting in a serious lag in the professional construction of global health and one health research teams, and research resources are highly fragmented and lack integration. The shortcomings of insufficient research and innovation ability, low teaching level and lagging overall development are very prominent. Governments, universities and scientific research institutions urgently need to learn and practice the concepts of "global health" and "one health", establish relevant concepts and concepts, and extensively carry out global health and one health education and research activities. Government departments set up all-health-related institutions to apply the concepts of "Global Health" and "One Health" to guide policy practice, and there is a huge demand for training.
The "Global Health and One Health Education Teaching Seminar and Teacher Training Course" project relies on School of Global Health, Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and One Health Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University-The University of Edinburgh, integrating domestic and foreign global health and Experts in the field of total health, with diverse teaching forms, rich teaching materials, and expected excellent teaching effects.
