Each year, both institutions exchange two nursing students for clinical observership and visits. In addition, Nagoya University's School of Medicine offers positionseach yearfor SJTU nursing students to pursue doctoral studies. These students can further avail the opportunity by applying for CSCScholarships.

After completing 3.5 years of undergraduate nursing education in China, students are eligible to enroll in a 2-year master's program at the University of Western Australia School of Public Health. Students of this program graduate with both a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Public Health.
