百贤亚洲未来领袖奖学金项目（2026年）申请启动 Launch of the Bai Xian Asia Institute Asia Future Leaders Scholarship Program Application (2026)

香港百贤慈善基金会由香港永新企业有限公司副董事长、上海交通大学校董曹其镛先生发起设立。百贤慈善基金会通过百贤亚洲研究院设立“亚洲未来领袖奖学金计划”，全额资助优秀亚洲学子赴百贤伙伴高校攻读深造。上海交通大学是百贤伙伴高校之一。本奖学金致力于帮助培养东亚下一代具有跨文化创造力的领导者。

The Bai Xian Foundation in Hong Kong was established by Mr. Ronald K. Y. Chao, Vice Chairman of Novel Enterprises Ltd., and trustee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Through the Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI), the Bai Xian Foundation has set up the "Asia Future Leaders Scholarship Program" to fully sponsor outstanding students to further their studies at Bai Xian partner universities. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of the Bai Xian partner universities. This scholarship is committed to fostering the development of the next generation of East Asian leaders with cross-cultural understanding.

一、本批开放学生对象

1.上海交通大学全日制本科二、三年级的东亚及东南亚国家（地区）国际学生；

2. 即将入学上海交通大学全日制硕士项目（即本人已被上海交通大学确定录取，同时个人也确认将在上海交通大学就读的全日制研究生）的东亚及东南亚国家（地区）国际学生。

I. Eligibility

1. International students from East Asian and Southeast Asian countries (regions) who are in the second or third year of full-time undergraduate study at SJTU.

2. International students from East Asian and Southeast Asian countries (regions) who are going to enroll in full-time postgraduate studies at SJTU (i.e. those who have been admitted to a full-time master's program at SJTU and have confirmed that they will study at SJTU).

二、申请条件

1.知华友华，身心健康，遵纪守法，愿意理解并认同上海交通大学学生培养理念；

2.理解并认同百贤理念与愿景，具备强烈的跨文化交流以及志愿服务的意愿和精神；

3. 中、英双语水平优秀；

4.如若入选，须参加百贤暑期优化课程及百贤相关补充课程与活动；

5.本奖学金与其它国际学生、其它港澳台奖学金不可兼得。

II. Application Criteria

1. Knowledgeable about and friendly to China, physically and mentally healthy, law-abiding, willing to understand and agree with the student development philosophy of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

2. Understand and agree with the Bai Xian’s mission and vision, honesty and integrity, possess a strong desire for cross-cultural exchange and commitment of volunteer service.

3. Proficient in both Chinese and English.

4. The selected scholars should participate in the Bai Xian Summer Program and other complementary program and activities.

5. This scholarship cannot be combined with other international students’ scholarships or scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

三、资助额度

百贤亚洲未来领袖奖学金资助额度为每人每年 25,000 美元，最高资助两年共计 50,000美元。

奖学金以人民币方式按学期逐月发放至入选学生银行账户，学生自行缴纳学费及相关费用。

III. Scholarship Amount

The Bai Xian Asia Future Leaders Scholarship offers a funding amount of $25,000 per year, with a maximum support of $50,000 over two years. Scholarships will be disbursed monthly by semester in RMB to the selected students' bank accounts. Students are responsible for paying tuition and related fees.

四、百贤优化课程内容

包括但不限于百贤短期文化见习，学术交流，百贤课程论文（由校内相关专家教授指导）。

IV. Enrichment programs & Summer program

Including but not limited to short-term cultural internship for BXAI, academic exchange, and Baixian course paper (guided by internal guidance experts).

五、评选流程

2026 年 3 月 18 日起接受报名。

2026 年 4 月 30 日 24:00 申请截止，材料筛选出符合条件的候选人。

2026 年 5 月上旬，经上海交通大学百贤委员会面试。选出初步候选人（研究生 10 人本科生 10 人）。

2026 年 5 月下旬，初步候选人被推荐至百贤亚洲研究院由其学术委员进行评选。

申请人所需要提交材料清单：

1.本科阶段成绩单（研究生一年级学生需要同时提交本科阶段成绩单和研究生阶段成绩单）

2.教授推荐信（至少一封，英语，需提交印有教授所在机构官方信笺的推荐信扫描件）

3.个人简历（中英双语各一份）

4.个人陈述（中英双语各一份）

5.百贤亚洲领袖奖学金申请表（见附件）

6.百贤亚洲领袖奖学金个人信息汇总表（见附件）

注意：上述材料请按照【本科/硕士+姓名+材料名】逐一命名后压缩，压缩包命名为【本科/硕士+姓名+2026 百贤申请材料】。申请材料通过电邮isscoffice@163.com提交。

V. Application

Starting from March 18, 2026, applications will be accepted.

The application deadline is April 30 24:00, 2026. Interviews will be selected based on the application materials, and recommendations will be made based on merits.

Early May 2026, interviewed by the SJTU Ba Xian Committee. Selection of preliminary candidates (10 graduate students 10 undergraduate students).

In late May 2026, the preliminary candidates will be recommended to Bai Xian Asia Institute and its Academic Committee for selection.

Required Application Materials (Electronic copy):

1. Latest Transcripts of undergraduate studies (first year postgraduate students are required to submit both undergraduate and postgraduate transcripts)

2. At least 1 ENGLISH reference letter with official letterhead and signature by the referee / professor (Chinese reference letter is not accepted)

3. Curriculum Vitae in both English and Chinese

4. Personal Statement in both English and Chinese

5. Completed Application Form for AFLSP (see attached)

6. Completed Personal Information Summary Form for A FLSP (see attached)

Note: The above materials should be named one by one according to the format “Bachelor's/Master’s + Name + Material Name” and then compressed, with the compressed file named “Bachelor’s/Master’s + Name + 2026 Bai Xian Application Materials”. Application materials are submitted via email to isscoffice@163.com.
