Bio

Prof.Xu received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Tongji University. Shefurtherhoned her expertise through advanced training at the University of Memphis in the United States, wherehasgreatly enriched her clinical and research competencies. Currently, Prof. Xu serves asthe deputy director of theNursingDepartment and holds several other professional affiliations. Sheis a youth committee member of the Nursing Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, a committee member of the Medical-Nursing Collaboration Group under the Pediatric Critical Care Subcommittee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the Pediatric Emergency and Critical Care Group from the Committee of Pediatric Nursing of National Children’s Medical Center. She also serves on the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Nursing (thetop nursing journal in China) andtheJournal of Integrative Nursing.Prof. Xu’s researchis focused on critical care nursing in pediatric populations, particularly extracorporeal life support and delirium in critically ill children. Her recent work involves developing predictive models for pediatric delirium and designing early intervention strategiesaimed at reducing its incidence and improving patient outcomes. This research has been presented and discussed atbothnational and international academic conferences.Overthe past three years,Prof. Xu hassuccessfullysecuredmore than 400,000 CNY in research funding from bothintramural and municipal sources. These funds have supported her ongoing efforts tointegrate evidence-based interventions into clinicalpractice, with the ultimate goal of optimizing nursing care for critically ill children.
