OVIERVIEW

ZHANG Ying RN, PhD, Associate Professor, Mentoring master students interested in pediatric nursing. She graduated from a joint doctoral nursing program at Peking University Health Science Center and Johns Hopkins University. Since 2021, she has served as Division Chair for the clinical teaching and research division. She is the chief of the clinical nursing teaching team at the medical college, a member of the talent evaluation and question bank construction team for the National Health Commission’s Talent Exchange Service Center, and an expert panel member for the Ministry of Education’s Degree and Graduate Education Development Center, the Shanghai Science and Technology Expert Database (Decision Consulting Category), and the Shanghai Education Evaluation Institute.

The primary focus of her research program is premature infant care and family care of children with chronic conditions. Her research employs longitudinal or mixed-methods designs and includes expertise in the collection and analysis of dyadic data. Additionally, her research team collects clinical, maternal, and family-related data on premature infants, spanning from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to the family setting, to build predictive models that explore their influence on the growth and development of premature infants.
