Biography

JIANG Liping, RN, PhD, FAAN, has focused her research on geriatric and gerontology of long term care and wound care. She holds the position of the chief nursing officer at Xinhua hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong university school of medicine. Dr. Jiang is an experienced researcher on long-term care for disabled groups, which cover a wide range of topics related to aging and children's health, integrated care and trauma cares, especially at wound healing and prevention of pressure ulcers for decades. As a principal investigator, Jiang has led a significant number of projects supported by Chinese and local government, such as the National nature science foundation of China. She is leading two ongoing NSFC-funded clinical trial to improve community health at aging with cognitive impairment and disabilities. Dr. Jiang has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers, books, and conference abstracts and has delivered presentations at hundreds of conferences as an invited speaker. She has mentored more than fifties of students, nurses, visiting scholars from hospitals and schools of nursing. Dr. Jiang is president of committee on health and intelligent care for family, China maternal and child health association. She also is a fellow of the America academic society of nursing, a vice president of traumatic nursing group of Chinese medical association, traumatic committee. Dr. Jiang has an honorary award of "Zuoying" Shanghai nursing and received the prize of the outstanding mentor from Zhejiang provincial department of education.
