Personal Profile:

Dr. He obtained her Ph.D. degree from a joint Ph.D. program in Jilin University and University of California, San Diego, which was supported by China Scholarship Council. Dr. He then worked in Los Alamos National Laboratory in the United States, Chinese Academy of Sciences and  Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. In 2019, Dr. He joined the Center for Single-Cell Omics in Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine as the core director of the Genomics Core.

As of 2025, Dr. He has authored/co-authored over 80 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious international journals including the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Clinical Cancer Research, Chemical Reviews, EBioMedicine, MedComm, Nature Aging, and Genome Research. Among these, she is the first or corresponding author on 40 papers. Her work has accumulated over 3,500 citations, with an H-index of 27. She has led multiple national and provincial-level research projects and served as a key member in National Key R&D Program of China. She holds over 20 Chinese patent applications, with several granted and licensed, and has registered five software copyrights. She has been invited to contribute review articles, one of which was selected as a cover story, and has presented her research at major international conferences, receiving multiple accolades.

1. Multimodal single-cell multi-omics technology development 

2. Multi-omics and big data analysis; Digital twins / Digital patients, Virtual cells 

3. Investigating the tumor immune microenvironment and targeted therapies using single-cell multi-omics technologies

4. Tumor biomarker and novel target discovery

5. In silico drug screening and repurposing

6. Next-generation alternative toxicology, nutritional assessment, etc.
