Personal Introduction

Liu Junling, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Distinguished Professor of Shanghai. In 2001, he graduated from Peking University School of Medicine with a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry. After that, he engaged in postdoctoral training in the United States. In September 2008, he returned to China and served as the Principal Investigator at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. From 2012 to 2020, he served as the deputy dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Basic Medicine. Professor Liu Junling has long been engaged in the molecular mechanism and translational research of Thrombosis and Hemostasis. He has successively obtained over 9 key competitive projects with a total funding of more than 30 million yuan, and won the Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talent and Shanghai Pujiang Talent projects. He has published more than 80 research papers in international journals such as Circulation, Cell Metabolism, Blood, Hepatology, JCI, Nat Commun, etc. He won the first prize of the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Currently, he is the deputy editor and editorial board member of several journals, the vice chairman of the Vascular Medicine Special Committee of the Chinese Pathophysiology Society and the Chinese Physiological Society Thrombosis and Hemostasis Society.
